Travel outside my local service area may require an additional travel fee.
Everything begins with your inquiry. I'd love to hear a little about you, what you're envisioning for your session, and what matters most to you. From there, I'll answer your questions, share more details, and help you plan a session that feels true to you.
01. Get to Know Each Other
Once you're ready to move forward, I'll send over your contract and invoice. After everything is signed and your retainer is received, your session is officially reserved. We'll stay in touch as your session approaches, and I'm always here to answer questions and help with planning along the way.
02. Make It Official
Before your session, you'll receive a short questionnaire so I can learn more about you and what you're hoping to capture. I'll also share helpful tips and outfit guidance so you can feel prepared, relaxed, and ready to enjoy the experience.
03. PREPARE FOR YOUR SESSION
This is the part you've been waiting for. I'll gently guide you throughout the session while leaving plenty of room for natural, unscripted moments to unfold. My goal is to help you feel comfortable and confident, so the experience feels easy, relaxed, and true to you.
04. YOUR SESSION DAY
Your full gallery will be delivered within 4 weeks, thoughtfully edited and beautifully presented in an online gallery, ready for you to download, share, and print. My hope is that these images bring you back to this season of your life for years to come.
05.Relive the Moments
I focus on natural, storytelling photography that feels genuine and timeless. Rather than stiff poses, I'll gently guide you while leaving room for real connection and authentic moments to unfold.
What is your photography style?
Absolutely! You're welcome to choose a location that feels meaningful to you, whether it's your home, a favorite park, or somewhere you've always loved. If you're not sure, I'm happy to recommend beautiful locations around Central Illinois. Travel fees may apply for locations outside my service area.
Can we choose the location?
Choose outfits that feel comfortable and true to your style. Instead of matching exactly, choose colors that complement each other while letting everyone's personality shine. Whether you love neutral tones or brighter colors, I'm happy to help if you'd like to send me your outfit ideas before the session.
What should we wear?
For outdoor sessions, the most beautiful light is usually during golden hour, about an hour before sunset. Morning sessions can also be a wonderful option. Newborn sessions are scheduled based on your family's routine and the best natural light in your home.
When should we schedule our session?
Of course! Pets are part of the family, and they're always welcome. Just let me know ahead of time so we can choose a pet-friendly location and plan the session accordingly.
